something wrong with my twitter and facebook and is only happening on ubuntu

When Im on my twitter and facebook accounts I cant access certain options
like on facebook I cant see my messages that people send me, In the message section It is completely blank and when I hit refresh nothing happens

for twitter alot of option are unavailable I cant see my followers page or my following page
It just shows up blank nothing when I hit refresh also

when I access them on my windows I dont have that problem

please help
