Firefox sync does not work

When I go into the Preferences--> Sync tab, both clicking on Pair a Device or Setup Firefox Sync provide no result.

Going from Tools --> Set up Sync gives the following error in the console:

Run profile manager

firefox -ProfileManger

deleted the old profile, made new one!!!
