OOo html files do not wrap in FF or IE

Asked by suguru

How can I save so that lines wrap or fold when displayed in a browser?

I type an .odt document then save as html. When it opens in FF each paragraph displays as one long line. Yet FF wraps the lines for other stuff I download from the www.

Thanks for the question.

I am not sure that I fully understand your problem.

If I create a document in OO Writer, and then save it as a html document with save as and change the Filter to HTML, the text will wrap in FF according to the width of FF.

What happens in your case? Do you get a scrollbar at the bottom? Do you use special layout features in OO Writer? Do you have a sample document available for testing?

Thanks

You solved it. As soon as I realized that someone else was doing it better I saw the tab saying "preformatted text." I just did select all then changed that tab to "default."
