Scrolling speed settings in Ubuntu 12.04

Is there any possibility, that someone will add a setting to "mouse settings", which would allow us to change scrolling speed in any browser or anywhere else?

you can change the scroll setting in firefox -->edit-->preferences--> in the Advance tab

you could find the option enable it ...

It works smooth scrolling...

You have not answered the question. Wojtek is asking for a way to change the mouse scroll event behaviour for "any browser or anwhere else" - ie: the system default.

There are many requests for this in bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124440 , however the fix for this bug changes automatic scroll speed calculations and does not allow a user to change the setting.

Can you help with this problem?
