Firefox crashes when log-on via java is activated

Asked by Carl-Georg Madelung

Firefox on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - Lucid Lynx, crashes each time a log on to bank or similar is atempted using java. Everyting is up to date, all updates on Ubuntu are made. This mashine is a Thinkpad 3 GB ram, lots of empty space on harddrive, and the same problem happends on my Pachard Bell, where everyting also is up to date. So now I go to the bank using Google Crome, that have no problems what so ever. Actually the fail happends when Nem ID the Danish National safety program tryes to launch. If you can not make this problem go away, we are compelled to use Google Crome, and I would be very sorry to let all my web-activity be through Google, as they know much too much about everyone as it is already. Hope this info is enough. Thank you.

If you use chromium instead, there is no tracking.

Have you reported a bug?
