Is it possible to download YouTube videos and burn them to a DVD?

I have Ubuntu 11.10 and a Hewlett-Packard that can burn DVD's. Can I download and burn videos from YouTube onto a DVD that can be played on a U.S. Sony and Panasonic DVD player? I still own two Sony Trinitron CRT television sets.

As for your question, go to the add-ons page in Firefox and search for 'Youtube'.

Use Brasero to burn it to a DVD.

use keepvid.com to download video and burn it to DVD using Brasero.
