how do I clean up cookies on my computer?

Please give me a list of steps to clean cookies off my computer. It is running slow and I don't know how to do it with the Ubuntu operating system.

You can use bleachbit, watch out for options that say they will take a long time. Also close as many apps as possible and watch the application settings or it will remove configs you want. Run it as both root and user (both are in the menus)

Open Firefox, click on the tools menu.
Select "Clear History" from the dropdown menu" then untick everything except for cookies and then click on the "Clear Now" button.

Also install the "better privacy" plugin in firefox to get rid of flash related cookie
