disappearing dropdown menu

In one application on Firefox 10.0 I cannot navigate from the top menu to the dropped down menu. The dropped menu just flicks out when I move from the top menu selection. This application works fine on my Windows OS Firefox.

I tried to adjust through -" Options –> Advanced tab –> General tab. In the “Browsing” section uncheck the box marked “Use hardware acceleration when available” but Firefox Tools does not have an Options selection."

The firefox for Windows is compiled differently and has completely different support, so is of zero value to your question.

If you close the browser then run:

mv ~/.mozilla/firefox ~/.mozilla/firefox_old

Then rerun the browser, does the page work ok?
