I cant uninstall inbox.com as my browser

I installed inbox.com by mistake it is now my browser I cannot uninstall it using ubuntu software and revert to google chrome

Hi was checking out the first bus timetable on boxing day to find out if there was any buses running

A pop up came which said install inbox I thought it was to register for access to timetables so I pressed install

It was inbox.com

Now in-box is my browser I cannot find in-box in unbuntu software centre to uninstall in-box

I would like to revert to google chrome web browser

I don't know where it came from

I clicked on page info in came up this site does not give owners information and this site is not encrypted

Try settings the default browser back to what you desire. Also I suggest you run:

uninstaller

And see if it's listed..

John, try altering your homepage setting in edit->preferences->General->Home page

I also recommend installing the "adblock" extension for firefox
