Asked by rdema19403

Iam running Ubuntu 9.10 and about 1 week ago started having problems scolling a web page in Chrome or Firefox when i scroll down on a page in automatically wants to go back to the top after i am on the page a few minutes it calms down. Also when i open a new tab up i cannot access it unless i have the mouse pointer where you type a web address and then press ctrl+tab then i can access the new tab, plus i cannot access my bookmarks either any ideas?(i donot know if it is a memory problem or not)
Thanks in advance,
Ralph

I suggest you to upgrade to a newer version because Ubuntu 9.10 is no loger supported.
See here for the supported versions:

Ok, but it's not secure to use this system. Have you tryed xubuntu or lubuntu? They are made for old pc. If they not works, i strongly suggest you to use another linux os that is updated.
