online classes

Asked by Jeremiah Parsons

Hi my name is Jeremiah and I bout this laptop Im on right now from a friend and I have no idea what he really put on this thing. Its directories are wiped pretty clean and it works like a charm. I am taking online classes and I need some plug-ins that are supported by microsoft windows or macintosh. I the test I ran in comparrison to my online courses said that Direct X was not supported and that my flash player was way out dated. the problem is that I need to be able to show media and the programs I have on here just wont perform the tricks I am needing. Really I have never seen this softare before I like it but don't officially understand how to use it yet, but I am a very quick learner so i'm getting around just fine on my laptop. So I am sure if you guys can point me in the right direction I can figure it out just fine . So please write back ?

Sincerely

Jerry Parsons<-----------------<<<

for flash player, install the version available in Ubuntu Software Center and install the one displayed as flash player, not as flash player for mozilla firefox. as far as direct x is concerned,, linux doesn't have direct x but have open GL, which is a linux equivalent. give me info regarding how you are taking online classes?? whether it is browser based of some sort of program???? if it is browser absed, installing latest flash player will do.

Can you help with this problem?
