no spot for the www. what ever you want to put in

there is no spot for the www. so you can put in a address. you can open another tab but the page is blank. cant put in www.yahoo.com or www.facebook.com etc etc. where do i go or what do i do to fix that problem. my six year old go onto the commputer and i dont know what she did to it. she wont show me what she did when she got on the computer.
