facebook videos not working in ubuntu 11.04

I am using Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwal and the problem is that i am unable to play facebook and some metacafe like videos in firefox browser. But i am able to play the youtube videos in firefox.
And one more thing is that i tested the same thing with chrome browser and this was able to play all the videos.

Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep "flash|gnash|swf"

ok well you have every flash plugin available installed, this will cause a conflict and you will get nothing.

This will sort you out:

sudo apt-get --purge remove adobe-flash-properties-gtk browser-plugin-gnash gnash gnash-common mozilla-plugin-gnash; sudo dpkg -P flashplugin-installer; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

You now have ONE browser plugin and flash will work.

it did not solve my problem. I still cannot get the facebook site to work it shows only text.
