new to ubuntu how to download MP3/other files

Asked by Gail Adams

"save copy as" is not available when I right-click on a file I want to download; the closest option is "save link as". I expect another option and don't know how to do it. New to Ubuntu - love it, but partially lost as PC user. Also trying to write musical notes, but the program "greyed out" and became unresponsive. First problem more important. Thanks! Gail

Please press the Shift keyboard key and then press on link...

New to Ubuntu:
- read the Ubuntu Manual, it's very informative: http://ubuntu-manual.org/
Click on the "download Button" to download the latest PDF version.

if you're looking at "save copy as", i don't think it's an mp3 file you're saving. you get this when your trying to save a pdf in adobe acrobat reader. you should get a dalog popup that has "open with", "save". how are you accessing the mp3 (what program are you using) to download the mp3?

Can you help with this problem?
