No adobe flash plug-in in firefox 4.0

Asked by youngpatrick

After the system update on uno-libs3, python-gobject, python-gobject-cairo, firefox, firefox-globalmenu.ttf-opensymbol, samba-common.libwbclient0, samba-common-bin, samba, sambaclient, python-cupshelpers, quassel-data, quassel, system-config-printer-common, system-config-printer-udev, libsmbclient, pythbon-uno and libreoffice SUITE... THE FIREFOX 4.0 FLASH PLAYER HAS NOT BEEN LOADED.. I CHECKED IT THE PLUGINS USING about: plugins IN FIREFOX AND NO ADOBE FLASHPLUGIN/SHOCKWAVE HAS BEEN INSTALLED. I ALSO ATTEMPTED TO UNINSTALL FIREFOX AND ADOBE FLASH-PLUGINS IN KPACKAGEKIT AND RE-INSTALL ITS. UNFORTUNATELY, IT FAILED TO INSTALL ADOBE FLASH PLUG-IN AGAINST FIREFOX 4.0 OR REKONQ BROSWERS. PLEASE FIX IT UP

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#When%20not%20to%20file%20a%20bug.

-- I have googled and found the alternative method to solve the problem
as follows:-
Add: launchpad.net/sevenmachines/flash/ubuntu in repository directory &
update
Now, I can use adobe flash player in version - Shockwave Flash 10.3 d162

Thanks and regards,
