web browser's won't launch

Asked by trent waller

I have ubuntu 10.04, my web browsers stopped launching in both google chrome and foxfire. i have an internet connection and can still chat, however i can't browse. In the update manager, when i check for updates i get two error messages. Public key's 7D2C7A23BF810CD5 and EOF72778C4676186 are not available. CAN ANYONE HELP ME, all my problems seemed to have come after installing windows 7 in virtualbox.

we're sorry
firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.
To help us diagnose and fix the problem. you can send us a crsh report.

then my options are Quite firefox or restart
-restart and it happens again

This means that it is an internal problem from Firefox. When you send the report, you can put your email, so they can diagnose what happened and give you a solution as soon as possible.

hahaha spam them error messages so that they fix it faster XD

No don't do that

Oh I think I know what your problem is! you probably were ether deleting/messing around with things you shouldn't have. I did that once back when I was stupid, I deleted the "Chrome" File in firefox thinking it was Google Chrome it did that to me too

yea, i just installed ubuntu in jan. from windows 7. I'm still learning ubuntu, but what better way to learn. for what ever reason my internet browser applets won't work, they will react then slow the computer down. i'm thinking there has got to be a way via terminal to fix this...
