Youtube no longer plays video. Youtube played perfectly on my system until 2 days ago. It now will not play youtube videos, the sound is still there but where the video clip used to be is just white. It seems to have happened after the last update.

I use Ubuntu 10.04 and I use Minitube and firefox web browser. Thinking it may be a firefox plug in I downloaded Seamonkey web browser went to Youtube to see if it would play using seamonkey, and it still didnt, so I dont think it can be firefox.
Any ideas please, I'm getting youtube withdrawal symptoms. Thanks.

I am having a simalr problem, but the Video plays with all the three colour images in different sizes and positions.

The same thing happened to me, and then suddenly it started working again. However, after an update last night, youtube is no longer working again on either Chromium or Firefox browsers.

Thanks for your comment jonathan, Yep, same as me my utbe came back after another update. it seems to work ok now.
