to increase speed of firefox browser

sir i have using ubuntu firefox from one month. now it is going slow and accessing the content very slowly . while my airtel broadbanc connection speed 256 kb/s.

You need to ask yourself which changes have you made, how many addons are installed, did the slowness occur after installing a certain addon.

Did you clear the cache and restart Firefox?
Does the slowness remain
- when using another browser
- when running FF in safe-mode (which deactivates addons)
- only on certain web sites or all
- after creating a test-user (which uses a default config)

pardon me, I may not be helpful...
but your report lack of information...
you should provide more information like: firefox version, ubuntu version, and describe "what is slow", such as viewing YouTube video is slow, etc.
