flash videos no longer saved in temp file that's why ? ? ?

Users accustomed to retrieving hard-copies (digital hard copies, that is) of online videos from various flash-using sites via the /tmp directory may be frustrated to learn that this no longer works. so i want know about that.
we don't like to this. so what we do to save this online videos now ???

Have a look at downloadhelper. I ceased using it, but it it allow to save some video format.

you can also use:

youtube-dl

And you can pull the video down easaier.

the add-on delance is referring to is video downloadhelper.
@delance
the author changed it so it saves using the filename of the video now instead of random characters.

All that having been said, where does the ubuntu/lubuntu currently store the flash video? I paused a downloading video and typed updatedb then locate flash, but it didn't turn up.
