how ca i speed up the buffering on videos?

you simply start play immediately pause,
leave like that few mints after that you can watch movie continuously.

I assume you are looking at videos in your web browser? Most likely you, or the remote computer has not enough bandwidth to support the required data rate.

Download the file to your local disk, then play it from there. To do this, try tools like "unplug". This will mean that you have to wait for the download to complete first, however.
