Pandora does not work after installing 10.10

Since upgrading to 10.10 Pandora radio does not work. It starts to load and then there is a flash across the screen when it's halfway loaded and it stops ... no error messages received. ....... ... ..... I tried it with Firefox and Epiphany and the results are the same. Yahoo also does not seem stable when I go to the site, sometimes it switches to black and white and then back to color.

You may have the open-source "gnash" flash player installed. You may need to uninstall it and install adobe's flash plugin instead.

Thanks a million for your help. ... This solved my problem. ...... I've been so frusrated since leaving a stable 9.4 that my next question would have been how can I go back to 9.4. ... I keep hoping UBUNTU would not be rolled out with kinks like this. The is what frightens new users, that plus those who with all good intentions answer questions as if the questioner is an EXPERT user. Thanks again, you've made my day.

Personally, I recommend using the LTS releases and only update at least three months after a release. This allows time for all the problems to be ironed out, and all the community people to write tutorials and how-tos.
