a web page will not close on Firefox,

A one web page will not go away on Firefox. All the other web pages close except one.

When I try to close the web page the following pops up in the Confirm page.

"Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?

PRESS ESCAPE OR CLOSE THIS ALERT"

The web page comes back up on Firefox after I turn off the computer.

I tried to delete history.

i have run into pages like this befor , and they were a real pain . try this tools -clean recent history - click the arrow to get drop down window - everything - clear . then afterwards restart ff .

  Edit preferences and select remember nothing do not save history etc.
