My browser is locked, and I have not received the code for the IP launchpad.net.

I use Mozilla Firefox for my browser. But someone locked me out of the browser, making it impossible to use the search and the addons. Finally, I signed up for IP launchpad, and I was to receive some kind of a code, but I have not received it. Above all it appears that someone is able to set how my Ubuntu functions, to the extent of locking it down.
I need help!

If you have not yet received the e-mail to confirm your Launchpad account, simply repeat the process. Perhaps the e-mail address was mistyped, or the e-mail got dropped on its way to your inbox.
