Can't sign out of yahoo.

Asked by Charlene Serafin

When i go onto yahoo, I'm signed in. I go to sign out and a small section disappears for a second, comes back on and still signed in. There is no way to sign out, so I am open to everyone to read my yahoo.

You can probably force a sign out by clearing your cookies.

In Firefox, that means going to Tools > Clear Recent History..., then select Everything as the time range to clear, and make sure there's a tick next to Cookies in the list underneath. Click Clear Now. When you next visit a Yahoo! page, you should find that you're not signed in.

What I suggested would have to be used each time you can't sign out. But if:
https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?logout=1
doesn't work to sign you out, and clearing your cookies doesn't remove your signed-in status, then there's a problem that I can't fix. A quick Google search turned up this:

If that doesn't work either, then you should contact Yahoo! support.

Can you help with this problem?
