Problems with Flash plugin for Firefox on Ubuntu 10.04

Hi everyone,

I have a problem that may seem really trivial, but to be honest I'm new to ubuntu and don't yet know how to cope with most of the things that go wrong.
I downloaded the plug-in as recommended, it's installed properly. The problem comes when I try to play a video e.g. on youtube, I only get a message 'An error occurred. Please try again later."
Did any of you have the same problem?

Is Youtube having problems I wonder? That isn't an error message which appears to be specific to your flash install, more like Youtube having some technical issues.

I would do as it suggests - try again later and see if the problem has gone - or try another site with flash to see if you get the same issue.

It doesn't work on another sites either. It's very weird, I know, I tried reinstalling it for 3 times but it doesn't seem to work.

youtube is like fast forwarding and i cant stop it any one no how to stop that??
