Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#When%20not%20to%20file%20a%20bug.

You seem to be running an old version of adobe-flashplugin. I suggest upgrading that to the latest version.

But Micah, which version? There were several listed on the Adobe Flash
download site:

        http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Adobe Flash Player version 10.1 Linux

select version to download...

YUM for Linux
.tar.gz for Linux
.rpm for Linux
.deb for Ubuntu 8.04+
APT for Ubuntu 9.04+

/Which one do I use????/

Thanks!

You don't need to download it from Adobe. If you enable the partner repository, you can install it from the Ubuntu Software Center.
Here is a link to documentation on enabling the partner repository:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu

The advantage to doing it this way is that you will be notified of Flash updates when they are available along with the rest of your system updates.

Hi Joe, get the deb package. Then use Update Manager to install the flash plugin.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Joe G for more information if necessary.
