Howto enable IPv6 support in Firefox

Asked by Christopher Forster

I'm connected to an IPv4 address according to http://whatismyv6.com/

On Kubuntu 10.04 Netbook Edition http://ipv6.google.com/ and http://www.v6.facebook.com/ don't work, they do however work on Windows Vista SP2.

How do I enable IPv6 support on Kubuntu or Ubuntu?

What vista does or doesn't do is oof no interest to us. It is a different OS with different support.
