"Cannot access virtual machine console. The request timed out" on firefox 3.6.6 how do I revert to 3.5x on a fresh install of Ubuntu?

Running Firefox 3.6.6 and VMware server on Unbuntu workstation with all a fresh install. Well I need to revert to Firefox 3.5x so it will work with the VMware virtual console. How to I do that?

First, remove Firefox from Ubuntu. In the terminal, type:

sudo apt-get remove firefox --purge

Or open Synaptic package manager (System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager) and search for Firefox, and remove it that way.

Then go to: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Then you can download firefox 3.5 if you need it. Just pick the language, click linux, and go!
