Firefox and Local Network Disk

Asked by savka

Hey, every body.
I can't save data from INTERNET to Local Network Disk.

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and Firefox as browser

I can normal connet to Local Network Disk through smb & ftp protocols and surfing there under system.

But in firefox preference> main tab, in place where to save data i didn't see network environment only local hard disk on my machine.
Same situation when I am using app. DownThemAll in Firefox, when i try to save data i didn't see network place so I can save all only in hard disk on machine, and then after download move data to Local Network Disk .

Is this bug of Firefox, or maybe i need to do something in Firefox about:config

Thank YOu!!!
I am new in Ubuntu family , but it's really makes for PEOPLE... I like it....

If you mount the share you can access it like a local folder. You can use an smbmount command or you can use /etc/fstab to mount automagically at boot.

Few apps can access shares the way nautilus does and must be mounted to fool the pp into thinking the resource is local.

Can you help with this problem?
