don't want Firefox extend to the whole screen

hello , I'm a newbie to Ubuntu 8.3
as I first use it, the firefox works well
but at the second time it covers the whole screen and I can't click to the menu,why?
I had just downloaded Opera

And Opera sucks too, I uses Chinese input and when I press Ctrl+Space to switch to chinese input it closes.

Or can anyone help me with this?

You're in fullscreen mode in Firefox. Disable it by pressing f11 on your keyboard while in firefox.
