Unbunt Uninstall

Asked by Frank Valier

Can anyone help me uninstall ubuntu. A friend of mine installed it on my computer but he didn't know much about it. Now my printer won't work and I cannot access my drives and the latest version of firefox is not supported by my on-line banking. I am in need of some help. I like ubuntu but I need more time to learn about it. Any help would be much appreciated.

What do you mean uninstall? One very rarely "uninstalls" an OS. Rather, they usually install another OS over it. Do you want to restore your Windows/Mac OS X installation? Was it completely over written or simply resized? If it was the latter, it should show up in the boot screen, where you have the options of choosing what will be loaded. Reboot, and watch the screen. When you get to the screen with the lines, scroll down and highlight the line that says "Windows ...".

Frank,
You will usually insert your other operating disk and boot the computer and then follow that operating systems instructions.

Though if you would like some help trying to get your printer and everything else to work perfectly, we can help you with that but we would need some more information.

Please open your own support request as it gets very confusing when there are more then one persons issues in a support request.
