can't import bookmarks from IE

I want to import bookmarks from IE into firefox. When I go to File | Import it just says there are "no programs that contain bookmarks can be found". The partition with IE on it has been mounted and I can browse it. I am using Ubuntu 9.10. The IE is the latest version.

Just mounting the drive wont make the Firefox detect IE in mounted drive.
