I want to use this language(ancient Greek ) for writing on google ,with firefox.

I think current Greek use same letters as ancient.System>admin>language support and download support for Greek.In system>preferences add Greek.After that right click on upper panel>add to panel> keyboard indicator.With that applet you can choose witch keyboard and language you want.I hope this will help you.

Ancient greek is not a supported language, but as zvacet says, the Modern Greek input method should work. If you only need one or two letters, you could instead use applications->accessories->character map.
