search bar not working

Just upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10, and now the search bar in Firefox does not launch a search, regardless of the search engine. Was working fine in 9.04

Click the small tab to the left of the input field, select Manage Search Engines.
Then press the "Restore Defaults" button.

Was going to reply "Restore Defaults" was greyed out. But decided to force the option. Removed one of the search engines from the list, which enabled the "Restore Defaults" button. Restored Defaults. Problem solved. Searches now launch properly. THANKS!!
