How do I download .php content from The New Message

Before upgrading to Karmic, I could download these files with Flashgot, but although the same download managers are active, the flashgot icon don't show up since the Ubuntu upgrade.

I have installed all kinds of plugins and download possibilities through Synaptic Package Manager, but I still can't download the contents I used to be able to download. What do I do?

Which "The New Message" are you talking of... is this from a web site you can't download a php source because it is run on server side and you will always get the result of php code usually html code.

You could use wget at a terminal like the example below.
$wget http://www.php.net/docs.php

Or you could try the DownThemAll! extension for firefox.
