problem with firefox 3.5

Asked by bjorn

Upgraded Firefox3 to 3.5 today. Now I can not use www.comcast.net. Everytime I try, it will inform I do not have a compatible browser. I had no problem using 3.0. If this can not be solved, how do I get back to use firefox 3.0?

The main page works fine but if I call for TV schedule page, Firefox
will start a loop and never stops. The same will happen going to
ESPN360. The Firefox will again start a loop that never ends. It just
can not find the page and I get the error I have to use a Firefox higher
then 2, Windows Explorer or Safari higher then XX.
Could it be my old Forefox is somehow blocking the new installation?

No, I don't think that Firefox 3.0 is blocking Firefox 3.5 from working. I think that comcast.com has made a programming error in their website and they have not been bothered to test it with FireFox 3.5.

Look for a contact link on the website you are having trouble with. Write to them and ask them to fix their website.
