Open a web site in Firfox

Asked by Karl-Heinz Rutsch on 2021-02-21

I always failed to open a web site in Firefox. Every time there is the mesasage:

(Fehlercode: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)

    * Die Website kann nicht angezeigt werden, da die Authentizität der erhaltenen Daten nicht verifiziert werden konnte.

I tried to inactivate the addons and plugins but that didn't help.

And there is another problem. I downloaded a new version of Firefox but I can install it because of insufficient rights. How can I get the necessary rights?

I'm a bloody beginner in Linux.
Kindest regards Karl-Heinz

Open the Ubuntu software center in the search box type: Firefox Their are 2 Firefox's The one installed by default which is 85.0.1 and if you scroll down further their is another. Firefox 85.0.2. I removed the default Firefox and installed the other both from the snap store (Ubuntu software center) This may help.
