install stradx

i very need stradx software for 3d ultrasound machine project. we can download from http://mi.eng.cam.ac.uk/~rwp/stradx/stradx_lnx.tar.gz. but for me because Im new be in linux and ubuntu i cant install it in my computer. i ask to richard prager who make this program and he said it must work. can anybody help me thank.

download the file and extract it to a folder, you can then run stradx and it will do what it does. I downloaded it myself and it does run but it appears to need something I do not have.

Is the address given. There appears to be a need for ~/.stradxrc file too
