Hi,

Your question is difficult to answer, because the driver you are planning to use is not proposed and packaged by Ubuntu. The question should then be asked to the vendor of the driver. In any case, when you decompress the file, you will find a text document named 'readme' in which you will find some installation instructions.

Alternatively, you can refer to the official help page of Ubuntu on wireless https://help.ubuntu.com/8.10/internet/C/troubleshooting.html#troubleshooting-device and follow the appropriate links to get some alternative methods.

Hope this helps!
