firefox 3.0.17 és nincs Java alkalmazás . Hogyan kell ?

letöltöttem a java jre1.6.0_18 csomagot. az oldal instrukcioit követve eljutottam eddig :
ln -s /temp/jre1.6.0_18/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so de erre azt mondja a terminál hogy permission denied a libjavaplugin_oji.so miatt.
hogyan tovább ?

Én a Synaptic csomagkezelővel tenném fel a helyedben a csomagokat így a Java-t is.
Ha nem Gnome-ot telepítettél, akkor:
"sudo apt-get install synaptic" a parancssorba
használjad egészséggel!

Ha magad akarod feltenni a csomagokat "dpkg -i"-vel ez a te csomagtárad:
