want to go back 8 hours to before upgrades

I upgraded to newest Cups and Vbox this AM... having problems. Need to roll back to hpw system was before upgrades.. yesterday at 5PM for example.

Hi senajgold,

You cannot revert your machine to the state it had on a specific point in time. You can however (in most cases where it matters) choose the version of the package you want. Please see here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PinningHowto#Introduction%20to%20Holding%20Packages
