i can't sign in any accounts like gmail , yahoo from firefox ,

i have newly installed ubuntu 9.04 on dell insipiron laptop , but i can,t acces gmail, yahoo signin page.

 i have solved it , i was proxy server , & i haven't selected the proxy for alll protocols i.e secure HTTP , FTP , etc ...
now itis runnig
