streaming video not playing in all formats

hello,

Flashplayer is working and playing youtube. My totem plays DVDs. I've downloaded the restricted drivers from Ubuntu. I have 9.04 with Firefox 3.0.14. I've tried all of the suggested fixes on the FAQ. Still, streaming video (Redtube, xvideos) do not play. Sorry, don't know what type of streams these sites use and sorry about using porn but these sites are the quickest source of streams when I am setting up my computer....
