You could try running the windows version of firefox or opera under wine(http://www.winehq.org/download/deb) and install the shockwave plugin to that (Shockwave is windows only)

ies4linux is also a possibility (http://www.tatanka.com.br/)

Shockwave is hard to get rrunning nice. If you use virtualbox with an XP guest you can easily run them there but I don't personally recommend getting a vbox for the sake of some games (unless they are a big part of your online use)
