help with errors

i try to report errors to system and it says the package is not part of ubuntu.
i try to play back videos and can't with the firefox browser.

i'm assuming you are trying to play flash videos in firefox like youtube?

Open a Terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

thats it. now flash works.

flashplayer is installed, but video playback worked once @ msnbc.com
 tried several times again and no playback

If you type about:plugins into firefox, you will see what plugins you've got installed, and what file types they are enabled to handle.

I can play the video on the front page of http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ using Flash 10.0 r15 and Firefox 3.0.6.

the problem is somewhat sloved. the videos play, but sometimes it stalls and won't play.
