Creating Java Applets, dont load in Firefox

Asked by Umz

Its a strange issue, related and unrelated to the Many threads I've gone through.

I have created my own Java applet and HTML page to run it in but it doesn't load... Funny enough because other applets load when I go to websites and even on the tutorial website their code loaded on their site but mine doesn't.

Its strange because it only doesn't load when I create a HTML page to run it in.

I've spent about 30 minutes doing the Java code and 4 hours trying to find a solution, I've fixed many other issues during this time, why is Ubuntu so difficult... I refuse to be beaten by a machine.

Thanks for your help.

Beautiful Solution, you are a King amongst men.

Another slight thing, not that important though, do you know the 'custom command' so I can change the default opening browser for my HTML files?
