where do i find temporary directory

when trying to send photo from image to e mail says check temporary directory . where do i find this

where is your photo located? perhaps you can locate it with the command

locate picture.jpg

if it doesnt find your file, you may need to update the database first with the command

sudo updatedb

then try searching for your file.
