Sounds like it's a problem with something in Firefox. Try deleting your cookies in Firefox by going to Tools > Clear Private Data, check cookies, and uncheck the rest, and click the "Clear..." button. If that doesn't work, next try clearing your cache by the same method. You can try clearing the rest of the items in there if that doesn't work.

If all else fails, you can completely reset all of Firefox by deleting a folder. Be warned this will erase all of your bookmarks and uninstall all your firefox extensions, so back up your bookmarks first by going to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Backup. Just remember where you back them up. I'd recommend using something like the Foxmarks extension in addition to (or instead of) backing them up manually. Write down the names of your extensions so you can reinstall them after resetting Firefox. So, to reset Firefox, close Firefox and go to Places > Home Folder. When the file browser opens, click View > Show Hidden Files. Find the folder called .mozilla and delete it. When you restart Firefox, it will be automatically recreated with all the default settings. This will very likely fix your problem.

Get your bookmarks back by reinstalling the Foxmarks extension and in the wizard choose to replace the local bookmarks with the ones on the server. Let me know how it goes.

Can you help with this problem?
