in regards to my last question everytime i try to add the program for restricted codecs i get a failed attempt telling me i need to run 'dpkg--configure-a' manually. what does tyhis mean and how do i do that?

open terminal
Applications>Accessoires>terminal
Then type dpkg --configure -a
