fire fox sound disabled

Ubuntu my sound works on all apps and other programs except for Firefox no plugins that i know of have been deleted

Hi
Try to close down any other programs that use the sound.
Sound wont work on two programs at once.
I think its a problem with pulse audio that is enabled by default in 8.04

Try going into System/Prefs/Sound, and select ALSA on Music/Video. Commit changes.. give it a try.
